SPRAY TANNING CARE TIPS

 

PRE TAN Instructions
We want you to achieve the perfect Spray Tan. By following just a few easy steps, it will ensure that you receive flawless results. Not following these instructions can result in blotchy, uneven and quick fading tans! Please contact us if you have any questions.

 

EXFOLIATE
Please exfoliate your skin 24 hours prior to your appointment. This is the most important step. Working with a clean, fresh base is crucial for a flawless tan. Exfoliating will remove dead skin cells, makeup, lotion, or old spray tan/self tan before we apply a new, fresh solution.

 

SHAVE/WAX/SUGAR 

If you shave, wax or sugar any body parts, please do so 24 hours before your appointment. This will guarantee that your pores are properly closed before your spray tan appointment.

 

NO PRODUCTS

Please do not wear any of the following products to your spray tan appointment. These products will act as a barrier and will not properly tan certain areas; makeup, deodorant or body lotion.

 

MANICURES/PEDICURES

Please book any manicure/pedicure appointments prior to your spray tan appointment.

 

DARK LOOSE CLOTHING

Please wear dark, loose clothing to your appointment. Our DRIP BY DRE crewnecks and a pair of sweatpants are the perfect outfit for your spray tan appointment.

 

POST TAN INSTRUCTIONS

Aftercare is extremely important for a long lasting tan. A Drip By Dre Spray tan can last up to 10 days, if taken care of properly. Please follow these instructions to ensure that your spray tan is streak free and fades away naturally. Please contact us if you have any questions.

 

NO WATER/SWEATING

Please avoid water until your post rinse shower. Coming in contact with water will cause your tan to stop developing and can result in a streaky tan. This includes sweating, skin to skin contact or any activities that involve water.

 

MOISTURIZE/HYDRATE

Moisturizing will begin after your post rinse. The more you moisturize, the longer your tan will last and the fading of the tan will be more even. Drinking plenty of water is also extremely important.
